Textiles in the Victorian Era
Clothing and domestic textiles, dating from 1884 to the early 1900s, will be on display in the kitchen, dining room, bedroom, and parlor. Visiting the house to see the display of textiles is the first part of this event. The second part follows in Oak Hall classroom where each participant will have the opportunity to create a slow-stitching project. An array of calico fabrics, ribbons, vintage buttons and embroidery thread will be provided. Each stitch will be a thread connecting us to the past and to Heritage House's history. No sewing skills are necessary.
Tickets are:
$20 for the general public
$10 for Arboretum members and CSUF students and staff (please use fullerton.edu email at checkout to verify)
